Toppan Forms (Colombo) Ltd; was incorporated in January 1982 in association with Toppan Forms Co. Ltd; Japan, as our collaborator, with the approval of the foreign Investment Advisory Committee – FICA, of the Ministry of Finance and Planning to manufacture and supply various continuous computer forms, different types of blank and printed business forms, with imported white bond and no-carbon-required papers. We have been providing this service for the last 15 years and are the pioneers and also the market leaders in this field. We have been able to achieve this position by adopting and maintaining very high technical standards of Toppan Forms Co. Ltd; Japan , our Japanese collaborators, in manufacturing very high quality products, providing a very prompt and efficient service with our customers continued support. We have extended our activities to manufacturing pin mailers, continuous envelopes and continuous cheques solely for banks, and printing share certificates with special security features which have been laid down by Colombo Stock Exchange.

Toppan Forms have now gone a step further and have commenced printing of cheques in book form, by purchasing machinery to the value of over Rs. 25 million under the Advanced Technology Scheme, introduced by the Government in its 1996/97 Budget Proposals. The Government introduced this for the purpose of improving the Industrial Sector in Sri Lanka by eliminating imports of finished goods into our country. For the printing of these chequebooks we have established a foolproof security system as required by the Sri Lanka clearing House of the Central Bank.

Toppan Forms (Colombo) has expanded a step further by introducing Data Printing Service. Toppan Forms DPS operation links business forms technologies with data processing expertise and showcase the company's advanced capabilities and comprehensive strengths. Against a background of fast growth in outsourcing, the DPS operations are showing a rapid expansion. In addition, in response to the Information Technology (IT) revolution, Toppan Forms is allocating management resources on a priority basis to the development of new products and services that use electronic media and to internet based electronic commerce activities. By using comprehensive range of multi functional business forms, Toppan Forms DPS operation offers fully integrated services, from the creation of printed document or form to the dispatch process.
